CUSTOMER TERMS OF USE

 

  1. THESE TERMS
  • What these termscover. These are the terms and conditions on which we supply goods to you via our online store at Store2Door.uk (Online Store).
  • Why you should read them. Please read these termscarefully before you submit your order to us. These terms tell you who we are, how the local retailers will provide goods to you, what to do if there is a problem and other important information. If you think that there is a mistake in these terms, please contact us to discuss.

 

  1. INFORMATION ABOUT US AND HOW TO CONTACT US
  • Who we are. We are Store2Door Online Limited a company registered in England and Wales. Our company registration number is 13276305 and our registered office is at 17 Juniper Avenue, Bricket Wood, St Albans, AL2 3LR.
  • How to contact us. You can contact us by writing to us at support@store2door.uk.
  • How we may contact you. If we must contact you, we will do so by telephone or by writing to you at the email address or postal address you provided to us in your order. 
  • “Writing” includes emails. When we use the words “writing” or “written” in these terms, this includes emails.

 

  1. OUR GOODS
  • Our goods are supplied by the local stores and not by Store2Door Online Services. For consumable goods, it is your responsibility to read the packaging on the goods so that you are aware of the ingredients and allergens they contain before you or any other person consumes the goods.
  • Store2Door is a website and platform for retailers to offer products and services they sell to the local community.
  • At Store2Door, we do everything we can to ensure the product information is accurate. Product information is regularly improved and updated by their manufacture.
  • As a result, Store2Door is unable to accept responsibility or liability for the accuracy of the product information including ingredients or nutritional info shown anywhere on the Store2Door website.
  • Store2Door recommends customers always read the product packaging and ingredients label before consuming to avoid any adverse reactions.
  • The labelling or packaging of the goods you receive may differ from the images of these which you see on our Online Store.

 

  1. HOW TO MAKE AN ORDER FOR GOODS
  • Placing an order. You enter your location post code in to the search bar. We will then present you with the closest stores within range from the location you entered.  You will then select the store and service you wish to purchase from and select the products to purchase. Once you have selected the goods from the Online Store and provided any other required information, you will be given the opportunity to submit your order by clicking or selecting the “proceed”, “place my order” or similar button. It is important that you check all the information that you enter and correct any errors before clicking or selecting this button.  You will receive confirmation of the order via email or notification within the app.
  • On placing your order. Once we have received your order, the local store will need to verify the availability of the products you wish to purchase. At this point in time, your order has not been accepted by the local store and can still be partially cancelled or cancelled in full depending on the availability of the products.  You will not be charged for any products that are unavailable.
  • How we will accept your order. Once the local store confirms availability of the products you wish to purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email or notification within the app including detail of available and unavailable product, at which point a contract will come into existence between you and the local store.
  • If we cannot accept your order. If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you of this via an order cancelation email or notification via the app, and we will not charge you for the goods or services. This might be because the products or service is unavailable.
  • Your order number. We will assign a transaction order number to your order and tell you what it is in your order confirmation. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.
  • Amending your order. Once you have submitted your order and your payment has been authorised, you will not be entitled to change your order.
  • Providing the goods to you. A copy of your order will be sent to the local store, and will be fulfilled by the local store. Depending on the service you have selected, your goods will either be delivered to you specified location at the delivery date and time you selected, or will be available for collection from the store you selected at the date and time you selected.
  • When you become responsible for the goods. Goods will become your responsibility from the time you take possession of the goods from our delivery drivers or when collected from a Store. It is your responsibility to ensure all items are present, goods are provided in the manufactures packaging and are all are in adequate condition.
  • Exchanges or Refunds. The exchange or refund of a product purchased using the Store2Door Platform, should be dealt directly with the local store and is at their discretion.      

 

  1. CANCELLING YOUR Order
  • Cancelling you order. After an order has been received, the local stores you have purchased items from are not obligated to cancel your order. However if you contact them directly and request a cancellation, they may be willing to cancel the order if the items have not already left the store.

 

  1. PRICE AND PAYMENT
  • Where to find the price for the goods. The price of the goods (which includes VAT where applicable) will be the price indicated on the order pages when you placed your order.
  • When payment is taken. A pre-authorisation on your card or chosen payment method will be taken at the time you place your order on Strore2Door.uk to secure your order slot. The Full payment will only be taken when the local retailer has confirmed the availability of the products from within their store.

 

  1. Responsibilities and Liability
  • Store2Door is in no way responsible or liable for damages or losses. As the contract for goods and services is between you and the local store, Store2Door is in no way responsible or liable for damages or losses you incur including but not limited to any products purchased through the Store2Door platform that are defective, damaged or delivered late.
  • Entering into a contract with the Local Store. By using the Store2Door Platform you are agreeing to these terms and confirm you are legally entering into a contract with the Local Store and not Store2Door Online Limited.  
  • Ordering Age Restricted Items. For orders that contain age restricted items such as  (but not limited to) Alcohol or Tobacco based products, Store2Door may carry out necessary check upon checkout.  When ordering age restricted items, you accept that you are a minimum of 18 years old and are happy to present Valid Identification (Driving Licence, Passport or any other form of valid id) to the delivery driver or a member of staff from the local store.  
  • Right to refuse delivery or collection of age restricted items. Store2Door and the Local Stores, reserve the right to refuse the age restricted items at our discretion including if it is believed to be that the customer is intoxicated, or that alcohol purchased will contravene the UK Licensing Act 2003, The Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016 Act or any other UK Law.

 

  1. HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
  • How we may use your personal information. We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

 

  1. Handling Questions or Complaints
  • How to tell us about problems. If you have any questions or complaints about the products or local stores, please let us know by emailing support@Store2Door.uk, providing your name, the order confirmation number, and, where available, your phone number and email address.
